This Hampton Inn was conveniently located. Even though it was right next to the highway, the room was quiet. The staff was friendly. Check in and check out was easy. I will say, however, compared to several other Hampton Inns we have stayed at over the past few years, this one is due for some major updates! The bathroom was very nice, but the rest of the room seemed very old and worn out. One queen bed in our room was very comfortable, while the other was terribly uncomfortable. There were no USB ports for device charging near the bed. The only charger was on the desk on the other side of the room. The carpet was older and not very clean. The doors were very old, wooden, and showed water damage and were splintering near the floor. I was not given the option of a mobile key like at many other Hampton's we have stayed recently. The breakfast was terrible. We arrived for breakfast at 8am. They were out of coffee and many of the muffin choices. Cereal choices and yogurt choices were limited as well as the fresh fruit choices. The scrambled eggs were dried out and had no taste. The breakfast tables were not clean and seating was limited.

We booked 3 rooms for 3 families (we had 2 kids with us).. but at the time of check-in at , around 8.45 PM, the hotel staff said they got over booked and have only 2 rooms..there was no coordination between Expedia and Hotel on booking confirmation..nither Expedia nor hotel informed us that they are over booked and they did not have enough rooms for us...we had to search another hotel and have to pay higher rates than what we booked through Expedia...even worse the hotel staff said please dont trust third party like Expedia for hotel bookings..request to hotel and Expedia please dont do such thing with anyone for some extra bucks.. the only nice part that the person at help desk of Hampton Inn proactively enquired in near by hotels and gave us some options.. i see $1 got blocked from my card saved in Expedia not sure what will happne now..will they charge me for the mess they did ??

I checked in, was given a room tnat hadn't been cleaned. They figured it out quickly and gave me another, nicer one. The Monday breakfast wasn't up to Hampton standards. My room wasn't cleaned Monday night, even after i reminded the staff member. I had to ask for towels. Tuesday breakfast once again wasn't Hampton standards, the eggs tasted fake and the potatoes were not good at all. I ended up having Frosted Flakes. The staff was very nice, the service was poor.

The pillows are only half size of a normal king size pillow in all rooms, which makes no sense. Hallways smelled like chemicals.
