"The location is great, walking distance to metro, and other public transportation. At the time we arrived, they were doing some construction so we couldn’t appreciate the main lobby and surrounding areas. The room a nice size, clean, small refrigerator, coffee maker. The only problem that we get charged to keep our bags/suitcases when our room was not ready, obviously we weren’t going to be all our town hauling them. Other than that, we’re pleased we our stay."
"The hotel had heaps of character! I absolutely adored the room that I stayed in. You could very walk to the subway and be in Manhattan within a few minutes! I had forgotten to pack soap and shampoo, but it was no matter - the shampoo and amenities at The Box House were wonderful to use. If you are having an overnight, or an extended stay in NYC. Keep The Box House on your radar!"
"Loved this property. Housekeeping excellent. Great communication before hand about check in as it does not have a front desk. Easy to leave luggage on arrival and departure. Staff at sister hotel super lovely.
We chose this property for the kitchen. Was easy to make our own meals."
