Top Music Farm Hotel Reviews
The Ryder Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Great vibe, convenient, beautiful pool and patio, comfortable beds, good food! We will stay here again!"
The Restoration
10/10 Excellent
"The Restoration was the perfect place to stay as my daughter and I moved her into the dorms at College of Charleston. Close to campus; spacious, clean and lovely apartment-style units, friendly staff and a delicious coffee shop - everything we needed to reduce the stress of move-in!"
The Palmetto Hotel
8/10 Good
"Location of the hotel is excellent. The hotel itself is very pretty, and the included continental breakfast is very good. Rooms are small, but that's typical for a boutique hotel. Parking is valet only and pretty expensive, but the valet folks are nice. The worst part of the hotel is the staff. Not warm. Not welcoming. Any questions to them felt like I was bothering them. The person handling the kitchen and breakfast wasn't warm either. I mean, the hotel is pricey... Crack a smile, maybe?"
HarbourView Inn
10/10 Excellent
"A great place to stay. Centrally located with wonderful staff. This was my second stay and I was impressed, again."
Indigo Inn
8/10 Good
"Rooms were very clean, nicely furnished, beds and pillow were so comfortable! Bathroom had a nice large vanity area separate from the toilet & shower, which very tight for average size person when the door is closed. Center courtyard was great for morning coffee and solitude. Very convenient walking location to all of downtown."
The Vendue
10/10 Excellent
"Great place, really convenient, to every thing, including restaurants. Would definitely stay there again."
The Nickel Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"This hotel was perfect. Perfect location, perfect room…the kitchenette was fantastic (even thought we didn’t use it). Bed and pillows comfortable too. I could live in the robe as well. The rooftop bar was great. Definitely gets club-like with loud music at night…so perfect For the younger crowd. Will definitely be back."
The Dewberry Charleston
10/10 Excellent
"clean room and staff"
Embassy Suites by Hilton Charleston Historic District
8/10 Good
"I gave this property 4 starts based upon all the aspects of a stay. People were great. Plenty of staff. Great breakfast setup. Fantastic location for a visit to Charleston's Historic District. Reasonable price. However, this property may not be for everyone. The property itself is a historic property (the citadel) remodeled into a hotel. If you are looking for a traditional hotel with lots of strategically placed windows, this property is not for you. If you are expecting interior windows overlooking the spacious atrium, there aren't any. If you have a fondness for the modern hotel room layout, this probably isn't it. And, some of the rooms are unacceptable. I am 65. First time in my life I complained about a room. Our first room (Room 200) should not be rented to anyone. Carpet was 18 inch stick down tiles that were peeling up in several locations. Walls barren. Room rather disjointed in layout as they made due with the space they had - frankly a hotel room where there should not be a hotel room. The term they used for this room was an "interior room". My advice is refuse an interior room. I suspect the 3rd floor rooms have a standard 8 foot ceiling. The other floors have 10 foot ceilings which compensates for the lack of windows. I would refuse a 3rd floor room unless 10 foot ceilings. Why 4 stars? What it has is historic charm, great staff, over-the-top breakfast and a great location."
