We loved our stay. This was our third time staying at Ainsonbourgh Inn. They are doing renovation on the building but that was not a problem for us. The location is very convenient and walkable. We love the building and the helpful and friendly staff. We plan to stay here on our next trip to Charleston.

I don’t even know where to begin. When we checked in to the hotel they said it’s under construction. We went up to our room and it looked nice, so we thought it would be fine. The bed was so hard and pillows so bad we didn’t sleep. Then the towels were frayed and felt like sandpaper. Not only these things, but jack hammering above our room all day every day (even on the weekend). Shame on them for charging full price during construction. Would not recommend. This place is a complete mess.

Worst lumpy mattress. We were not advised in advance that the lobby/common areas were undergoing a renovation. Lots of truck traffic noise all night long and starting at 6am.

This is an old warehouse that was converted into a boutique hotel. It is very nice. The rooms are spacious and comfortable.
