Great hotel with wonderful staff. Food, drinks, roof top bar were all excellent. Especially enjoyed the transport service. Wish there were more USB charger outlets in rooms. Turn down service/room service was inconsistent. Would highly recommend for quiet, relaxing stay in Charleston.

Beautiful hotel that is well located to access the best of historic Charleston. Staff is very friendly and responsive. Despite the positives, feel like it was very overpriced. Several specific criticisms: 1) gym is tiny and very poorly equipped - no free weights and no functional trainer and only four machines total (two bikes, one elliptical and one treadmill), 2) Restaurant was closed for renovations forcing you to eat breakfast in the lobby area which had few tables and is right next to the door giving you a nice cold blast of air whenever somebody enters or exits and 3) our room was very small and quite cramped. This is a decent hotel at $500/night, it would be a great hotel at $300-350.
