Aberage room, nice breakfast
Posted 28 Feb 2019 on HotelsRenovations taking place at the hotel, so workers getting in and out constantly. A bit pricy but you do get all basics and a decent breakfast with eggs made by order. Staff was nice and attentive.

Posted 7 Sep 2018 on HotelsWe had a bit of a rough check in because they had neither a record of our reservation nor our payment, which was thankfully cleared up a few hours later. The receptionist was very helpful in spite of not having a reservation to help us getting checked in. The room was nice, about what we expected; we have no complaints about cleanliness or the like. The breakfast buffet had a fairly good variety of items. We appreciated the fresh flowers on the tables - a nice touch! The location was perfect for the purpose of our stay.

Cheap weekend break

Staff would tell me all the little place to go see in the area, live free music (it was a Friday so don't expect it everyday) where you can get something to eat or drink for the small shops that dot the area near the hotel, and in the morning a good solid breakfast too start the day. Good place for a weekend break with some night life in the local bars/clubs.

Very central to most cafes and Restaurants

Pros: Staff very friendly. Room cleaned daily, was very good.
Breakfast was excellent,meals at the Bar were fantastic with good portions.
Heating was great.
Cons: Decoration a little tired, especially with the old style tv, which was difficult to use at times.
Shower rail was broken.
Location: Tourist information. Bunker Cafe. First class Museum. Victory monument. St Nicholas Cathedral. Bus Station very near. Cafes with beautiful cakes.
I would recommend this hotel as the location and value for money is very good.
Although the hotel needs a facelift, it is still good value and worth a visit.
