The pictures were not accurate for this location. In person it looks like a run down, roach motel. I paid $400 for two rooms and these rooms were not worth this price. Both rooms smelt of rotten eggs and one room had damage from where the door had been kicked in. The breakfast was horrible and staff complained of him being 1 of 2 employees. I do not recommend anyone booking this hotel for $200 per night. At best, it’s work $50.

Property exceeded my expectations which weren’t high considering it’s a motel. Check in via kiosk was super easy and efficient, I’ll take that over a slow check in person any day. Room was clean and ample space with 3 whole beds plus a sofa in the “family room.” Bathroom was tiny, but water was good, two sinks also. Area around the hotel was very quaint and cute. Motel had a playground for the kids! Couldn’t ask for better in this very desolate part of South Dakota.

I was not impressed with our room. It was very odd not having staff on site during check in. Not a very personable experience. The breakfast was half empty.

This was a nice place to stop for one night while we were on the road for a long time. Check in had a kiosk only. The room was small and clean. It was outdated but did the job for one night. The town and area around it felt like a ghost town which felt a little unsettling so we locked the doors and stayed safely indoors at night. Breakfast was good.
