Stay was ok not great. Not far from old town Munich but also kind of out of the way from most bars and restaurants worth visiting

Excellent room, very comfortable bed and great staff. Breakfast was fantastic with the bestvevery guy running the breakfast area.

wifi was spotty, no coffee in the room, very noisy and unsafe neighborhood. breakfast was descent. limited english channels.

Almsot perfect except wifi
Posted 7 Dec 2023 on HotelsLocation of the Hotel Astor was very appropriate for me. Hotel and the room was comfortable enough. Staff was helpful. Room was large enough. The street was always busy till midnight but I did not feel miserable. The only thing that bothered me was the wifi. Since I used to work in the room, it is mandatory for me to have strong wifi. Even if ı did not have any problem with the phone, I couldn't use my computer in the room and I was directed to the breakfast floor to work with my computer. All the rest was good enough.

Nice staff and rooms, and they let you take the bikes for free. Close to the train station

Great location, though the neighborhood is on the rough side. Odd shower enclosure, though that's Europe for you! Otherwise a really pleasant stay!
