Really lovely hotel centrally based in Mudgee. We stayed in room 4 which was upstairs and a good size with a modern bathroom. The windows were well insulated so we didn’t hear any road noise overnight. Staff were very friendly. Would definitely stay again.

If we had a better room it might have been a different experience. We had Room 6 “King Suite” - terrible position - window blocked as it looked onto cafe courtyard so room was dark and next to staircase so we heard everyone coming in and walking up the stairs. Really ruined the stay.

Beautiful Victorian suite with luxury fittings
The only negative was the early morning noise from the highway

Nice but noisy road.
Posted 10 Aug 2023 on HotelsNice little hotel in a convenient location. The reception is only open during designated check in, check out times. We were 15 minutes early and had to go away and come back because no one there. The rooms are nice and comfortable but the traffic noise was terrible. The trucks going past made it difficult to sleep. Definitely would not recommend a room facing the street.
