The central location is great. I liked the public area and besides the bar/restaurant/reception space, there are several places to hang out as well - near the pool area and the roof. Nice pool although it could be a bit cleaner. Good WIFI and breakfast. Complimentary use of bicycles, a plus. Attentive staff, if there are issues or something is needed, they addressed it right away.
It would be nice to have a consistent TV reception and more international news and movie channels.
I would definitely stay here again.

This place has lots of potential and is still one of the better hotels on the island. It would be much better if the staff had a little extra training

Better than average but not great!
Posted 14 Jan 2019 on HotelsThe staff at Cafe Central really make the property. They extremely helpful and really seem to love their jobs and helping guest. I expect to be wowed by the property given the previous reviews but there were just too many things not in order for me to say the property is great. The old building has character but there are a few areas on the property that need some fine tuning. Especially, towards the back of the property. The swimming pool was also full of algae during our visit but we seemed to be the only ones bothered by, it. The rooms themselves were very clean and well stocked with clean towels and even a few toiletries
