Good, basic pre-ski accommodation
Posted 30 Jan 2022 on HotelsWe stayed for one night on the way to Val Thorens ski resort. It's good, basic accommodation. A bit dated, and no frills but fine for a night. It's up a hill - so be prepared for lots of steps if you decide to walk into town for an evening meal!

Room was spotlessly clean.
Decor is dated, but given the price and location, excellent value for money.

OK for an overnight stay when passing through
Posted 17 Mar 2018 on HotelsIt's quite a hike up the hill to Hotel Inn from the town (about 15-20 minutes on foot from the train station). There isn't much in the immediate area so - unless you fancy the slog back down the hill - you might find yourself with no real option but to eat in the hotel restaurant. The food was ok - nothing special, but our expectations weren't especially high. The hotel was quite quiet when we stayed overnight midweek on our way through Moutiers. The beds were comfortable enough and the shower was decent. Check-in an check-out was easy. The wifi was pretty patchy. All in all, for a one-night stay when passing through, it was ok but you probably wouldn't want to stay much longer.

Charged unintentional for breakfast (Euro 9 x2)
Posted 1 Mar 2018We asked about if breakfast would be included when we checked-in and the reception lady told us 7:30am but didn't mention anything about the cost involved. Then we were billed with additional 18 euros! It's a very bad experience for my wife.
