Liked the location. Didn't like the room. Very old n run-down. Toilet looked renovated but the whole toilet tends to get wet after shower although there's a shower door.

Hi Gurmit,We are the oldest yet most popular motels in mount gambier. Though the place is old, but we keep is neat and clean and well maintained. Ensuite shower toilets are recently renovated. We believe that while having shower, door needs to be closed otherwise water will come out of shower cubical.

We liked this clean and comfortable motel which suited us, a family of 3 perfectly. The owners were especially helpful when we had discussions with them regarding the various places of interest and reasonably priced restaurants for dinner. The small touches of thoughtfully providing fresh Dairy Farmers milk in pods as an accompaniment to coffee/tea plus little packets of biscuits were much appreciated. It may not cost much but such thoughtfulness goes a long way in keeping your guests happy.

I was a little disappointed when I arrived, but once I opened the door to the unit I was pleasantly surprised. Very nice and usable inside. Car parking was a breeze, unlike many!!!

1. Kitchenette needs attention
- weight of bar fridge on top of bench caused bench to bow
- use of toaster caused fuse to blow -> can't use microwave or fridge
2. Dated decor
3. TV - remote unable to change channels, poor reception signal

hi Rachel , thanks for the valuable feedback. The electric points are designed to avoid overloading. if someone use multiple appliances such as microwave, toaster and electric kettle all together, the MCB trips to avoid any electrical complications. We have noticed some guests bring their own electric appliances such as rice cooker, which we do not allow them to you as they are not tag and tested , that also leads to MCB tripping. If you would have notified us when this thing happened , we would have helped you. Kitchenette and fridge issue has been taken care . thanks for that feedback. We always try to improve our room quality such as you must have noticed that room you were issued was equipped with a brand new bathroom and so was new aircon and carpet. Room type you chose was a budget category so we cannot help you much with room décor, but the décor is recently updated, and we try to make it neutral to suit everyone's taste. We also checked TV reception and remote, we didn't find any problem when checked. We will advise you next time wherever you stay, if you have such problem, please contact the staff on duty to help you instead of keeping this matter with you only and suffer. kind regards management

Room was renovated but lacked some finishing touches do make worth a higher rating. WiFi did not work properly kept on disconnecting very annoying.
