It was ok. The air conditioning unit was dirty and smelled moldy when I turned it on. Had to turn it off

The hotel is old and not in great shape and it has not been kept up, at least the original building where we were. We had paid in advance so we stayed. We would not come back. We also went to a well recommended local restaurant, Coppola’s Italian Restaurant and it was the worst Italian meal I have ever had. It was a 4 star restaurant apparently, but I would have given it a 2! We would not stop at Mt Airy again.

Just passed through for the night, staff was helpful with any needs, room was clean and basic. Would stay again!
