The staff were fabulous very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent for the price. We had a dog room but it was clean and spacious. My only complaint was the tv we could only get bbc channels to work. But we were out all day . Lovely village and easy to travel from . Nice food available all day . Good value

Posted 14 Sep 2023 on HotelsTo have a large bedroom, a large lounge area and a bathroom for this price is amazing. One of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. New bathroom had a large walk in shower with instant hot water. A couple of niggles in the bathroom- the tiny basin is only suitable for hand washing so don't try to wash your face in it, or shave. Also even a little shelf to put things down would be useful.
Food was really tasty and properly hot- unlike some places where it is tepid.
Staff were really really friendly.
I had Room 6 which has the windows film covered so you can't look out on the bins. As I am slightly claustrophobic I like to be able to see out even if it is bins! I hope to visit again so will ask for a different room.
