The George hotel is excellent, very clean and comfortable and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
The food is also very good.
Highly, recommended.

Could hear lot of outside noise, inside vaccumming started outside room 9 am

Thank you for your review, there can be a bit of street noise especially over the weekend due to the location. Apologies that housekeeping disturbed you with the vacuming, there must have been an early departure/arrival.

Hotel was lovely and clean with very fresh decor. Very helpful and friendly staff.dined in hotel every night,good value and nice range of dinners.Great breakfast in the morning with very civilised dining times.Our stay was over the weekend and the pub across the road had a disco going until about 1.00 am, one of those things. Montrose is a nice wee town with lovely drives all around,would certainly return.
