1.water take times to come hot

The location is great. We had a great weekend walking around the old port. The property itself is a basement and was not super clean. Our bed sheets when we arrived had old makeup and hair but they were great and allowed us to switch rooms. For the price and location I would consider staying again but definitely feel Hygie needs to look at the cleanliness of the place.

Bad bad night
Posted 27 Dec 2023 on HotelsParking is on street which was a problem finding anything. Room smells like cigarettes. I will never stay here again and will be sure that everyone knows that this is not a good place to stay.

I barely slept because of the noise from the street and from inside the hotel (it seemed the staff was doing something overnight and not sure if other guesses were also loud).
The front of the hotel was dusty and didn’t have a front desk, just sort of a podium with a kiosk on the side. At the time of checking out, nobody was available and we kept ringing the bell until someone answered the intercom (maybe we checked out too early). Pillows were think.
Pros: room is well remodeled, nice and clean. Hotel is located at walking distance from Place d’arms and restaurants.

Left this hotel in 2 hours!
Posted 18 Oct 2023 on HotelsWe booked Hygie hotel for 4 days but ended up leaving after spending 2 hours there! All rooms are in the basement that looks like a former office space. There are no windows, no ventilation, and all heating is centralized. It was so hot and so impossible to breathe in our room! Our dog was panting loud and was restless! We have requested a fan, asked if it’s possible to reduce the temperature, but got a negative response each time! After 2 hours we decided to leave as this would have been a miserable stay with sleepless nights! We have requested a refund but the management refused to refund us and refused to cooperate with Hotels.com, even though we stayed there just for 2 hours! There is also no reception, no elevator and quite a few stairs to climb with the luggage! We will never consider staying at this hotel again! They literally took our money and provided terrible service!
