Like staying in a castle, a beautiful property on top of a hill overlooking surrounding towns and villages.. Great staff and amenities. Easy parking!!!

Bike trip 2020.

There were eight of us on motorcycles loved the hotel it was second from last on our trip, I also liked the walk for the evening meal at the other hotel 600meters away.

A luxurious accommodation with spectacular views!

We stayed at Parador de Verin Ourense since we wanted a stop between our trip between the western coast of Galicia and Madrid. This hotel was exceptional value off-season (second week in April) and is situated high up on a hillside over looking valley and right beside the Castillo de Monterrei (3 min walk). Our rooms were impeccable, very comfortable and the evening were very quiet with the sounds of owls in the forest nearby. We ate at the restaurant which opens at 2030, for those not accustomed to eating much later and typical Spanish dinner times. The staff were very patience with our limited Spanish language, but that should not deter anyone considering Parador De Verin since there is an understanding of English. Hiking and other sights and activities in the local area have been identified for the guests. A very peaceful place when we visited and highly recommended!

Very enjoyable stay. Brilliant 180 degree views from gardens and pool. Excellent breakfast too.

Not the best parador in the chain.Staff need some customer service lessons especially on reception.

Altes Haus wie fast immer bei den die Paradores (zumal bei Preisen unter 80€) aber sehr gutes Management (genug Personal, welches sich wirklich kümmert). Pool öffnet erst am 15.6. Herrliche Aussicht und Ruhe. Restaurants in Verin auf Sterne Niveau (Regueiro da Cova), Vinoteca ist immer wieder ein Erlebnis Gerne immer wieder - Viva Paradores
