We stayed from Saturday to Tuesday. Clean and simple. The included breakfast was nice. Hot, fresh food every morning. The surrounding area is peaceful, with less traffic but not far away from the old fisherman’s wharf, Trader Joe’s, and various restaurants.
The room is plenty spacious for a family of 3 or 4. The included parking is easy to get to. Staff is friendly. We had an all around pleasant stay. Would stay again.

First Choice for Monterey
Posted 22 Jan 2024 on HotelsI have nothing but good things to stay about our stay here. The front desk staff were so friendly and accommodating. The parking was easy and plentiful. There is tea and coffee always available in the lobby. The room was clean and had a sliding door with a screen, for fresh bug free air. The beds and pillows were super comfy. I didn’t hear a single noise during the night. There was a wonderful ceiling fan, which I think should be mandatory in all hotel rooms. The sink was separate from the toilet and shower, which makes sharing a room so much easier. There was plenty of hot water. The cooked breakfast was yummy. A couple of our group said the coffee was bad. I don’t drink coffee (it always tastes bad to me), so I’d say this place was perfect with no room for improvement. The Best Western will now always be my first choice when staying in Monterey.
