Lovely Stay

My overall stay here with my fiancé was good with very clean, spacious and affordable accommodation. Neena & staff very attentive, friendly & always offering assistance & information where necessary. I would definitely return & recommend.

Poor customer service

I was not happy with the check in process. It was raining very hard and I hand to find a way into the property and hunt down a representative too check me in. The lights, cable and internet were out! Not happy at all. The lights didn’t come back on until 10pm and the cable and internet is still not working. The next day still not cable or internet and I was unable to find the staff. Nenna called at 1pm only too receive the cleaning fee. I had too ask her when would the cable and internet be back on, she just kept saying they are working on it. I don’t know why I had too travel 2 miles to her office too pay the fee I felt like she should have come too me. I asked her about discount for the lack of services and she said it’s not her fault and no discount will be given. I realized that she has no customer service skills and just wanted too get off her property. I would not recommend this property.

We had a freak storm the day Lawrence arrived, which actually caused his flight to be diverted to Kingston and then return to Montego Bay several hours later. This storm knocked out the power in several areas in the city, and it returned later that evening. We went to the townhouse, welcomed him, his mother and brother. We had ordered a surprise birthday cake for his Mom and this was waiting for them when they arrived at the townhouse in Montego Bay a day late due to the polar vortex in Chicago. We do understand his annoyance due to this, but we certainly tried to make sure they had a good stay. Fortunately, the weather was beautiful for the rest of their stay, but this did not seem to appease him. We were in constant communication before his arrival and all was fine, but these delays in getting here seemed to have upset him greatly.

This property is a gem. The cleanliness when we arrived truly was the best I've seen. I had also been told that the property was recently renovated, which I know many of us traveling may look for. It feels newly renovated. Neena will be your host, and the security men are also helpful. There may not be a front desk, or concierge, but that also wouldn't feel right at this place. If we needed a taxi, or a complimentary ride to select locations, we would ask the property supervisor. He would then accommodate by reaching out to his connections. Shortly thereafter, a car would arrive. If you simply ask, the staff will do all they can to accommodate. This is some top-notch service. It was two of us, though the townhouses should accommodate four to five people comfortably. There is a downstairs with a patio, an upstairs with a balcony looking over that part of the city and part of the ocean. Let's not forget the lovely infinity pool. My favorite bit of these accommodations is the fully stocked kitchen! Yes, there is a coffee maker and microwave if you need. I HIGHLY suggest trying the Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee. It's some deliciously strong stuff. Neena, as your host, will be in touch with you via WhatsApp if you so please. We happened to be fortunate enough to be visiting local friends, but if I needed more of her services I am confident she would have been prepared to assist. This destination shouldn't disappoint. We intend to stay at Nianna's again.

The private pool was amazing&peaceful. The house was set up beautifully for the most part&as pictured. There was access to two beautiful beach clubs and the Property Manager Jave was amazing. Scotchies (Restaurant) had thee best jerk chicken ever! We must have eaten there every day! What was disappointing is that we were given 1 towel each to last us the entire duration of our stay; there was a shuttle to take us to the beach for free but would cost if we wanted to ride the shuttle back to the property. This was smart for business &disappointing for newcomers' experience. If we didn't know anyone on the island, our way around, or have the extra money this is a huge safety issue as It wasn't walking distance.Thankfully we knew someone who lived there&could transport us around the island.There was also a cost of $20USD to be picked up from the airport. Upon arrival we had to pay a $60USD cleaning fee before we could even check into the townhouse.There were also some issues with some very tiny ant-like creatures that found their way in&some kind of lizard. The cable had many channels that were not available despite the advertising of over 600 channels being available. When it came to communication Nina was usually quick to respond, especially where money/additional fees were involved. When we landed at the airport around 11a her text responses were quick to assist us in going by the property--to pay the cleaning fee&then be sent away until 3p check-in--with ALL of our stuff!

We are sorry that some of the charges you had to pay were upsetting to you, but sadly we do have to charge for airport pickup and also for the cleaning fee, and this fact is clearly mentioned on the website when you are making a reservation. We certainly do offer a luggage drop off at anytime during the day, as check in is at 3:00pm and many of our guests do take advantage of this by coming early, leaving their stuff and returning later. We also offer a free drop off shuttle to the beach with a small charge of $10 for pickup of however many persons there are and return to the townhouse at anytime the guests wish to do so. An Internet and cable package comprising of many popular channels is offered at no charge. We regret that these tiny antlike creatures and a lizard made their way into the townhouse, which is why we do leave an insect spray in the kitchen. We are in communication with our guests as soon as they book so that all these matters are clearly spelt out to them. We do regret that you were not aware of this.
