The Historic Afton Hotel

Outdated, didn't mention there are "quiet hours" times when you can't use the hot tub and TV has to be low...

Thank you for your reveiw and feedback. Yes we do have quiet time for the jacuzzi jets after 10pm as they do make a good amount of noise and we try to please our guests that are trying to sleep. Being a historic hotel, we do have a historic side, but also have a newer side that is more of a victorian style, so we hope you try us again on the newer side.Thank you!

Cute small town inn
Posted 16 Jul 2023 on HotelsCharming, historic inn that could use some updating. The staff was friendly and the complimentary breakfast was good. We got one of the bigger rooms and the jetted tub was nice. Sometimes there’s a curfew so be aware of that. However, my big downside is the older crowd that the inn restaurant draws. I work with people and I’m a friendly people person in general. It was clear that my presence as a younger queer person made them uncomfortable- they constantly gawked at me whenever I left my room, they were disrespectful, and even when I politely held the door for them they ignored me. The inn itself and staff were lovely - it’s a shame that their customers are not.

Yes we do have 10pm quiet time for our Jacuzzi Tubs, so when the jets are running, it doesn't disturb neighboring rooms. So sorry to hear that our customers gauked at you and treated with you with disrespect. As an owner and operator, we all want to be treated with respect and just be nice people.
