A charming establishment with comfortable facilities and welcoming and helpful staff. The staff even gave our kids small treats while we were checking in that kept them happy.

Great hotel, conveniently close to Kyoto Station and Kujo station on the subway. Lots of restaurants around but it was quiet at night in the room. A Welcoming lobby with lots of thought gone into providing guests with things they might need and some kitchen facilities. Loved the loan of the kimono/dressing gowns. The room was spacious. My one complaint are the terrible pillows which are like bean bags! That’s why I’m giving it 4 stars not 5. If you can’t have a good night’s sleep because of terrible pillows, it sort of ruins your day so it’s quite a big deal for hotels to be thinking about getting right.

Hotel Imagine is so unique, exhibiting the owner's passion for detail. The room fit our family of four very comfortably and we loved the shower/ofuro which I enjoyed every night after a long day of walking and sightseeing! While there was no breakfast included, there is a full-service kitchen with great amenities. We made our breakfeast every morning and the coffee machine was wonderful! There was also a very nice upstairs deck which we were not able to enjoy since we were out sightseeing during the day and too tired to use during the night. We will definitely stay at Hotel Imagine again!

Posted 9 Nov 2023 on HotelsAside from being a beautiful hotel, the staff and owner went above and beyond our expectations of hospitality. They were able to resolve issues (not created by them) and also very helpful with suggestions of places to visit and places to eat. The location of the hotel was very convenient since it’s close to the Kyoto station. Thank you again to the owner and amazing hotel staff, you made our Kyoto trip unforgettable!
