The room was clean and had all the amenities. The lounge was well-stocked for the continental breakfast. I will definitely stay there next year during the TSP Convoy.

Imagine walking into the breakfast room and seeing a cat sitting on the table. They have the run of the place. Even if you are not allergic, do you want to set your meal where a cat's unwashed bottom has just been resting?

Hi James. Just a quick note to thank you for your business and for choosing us and for taking the time to share your thoughts. As for the only concern you expressed, we have 2 cats who do not have "full run"...I am the owner, and we have allowed them limited run in the lobby of the hotel, which the breakfast room is connected to. We are VERY careful and mindful (see all other reviews) of cleanliness and do not push our cats on anyone, but if you look at the reviews, guests by and large love our cats. In this instance, my staff remembers she had the door to the breakfast room held open as breakfast was closing for the day, she was cleaning and she thought everyone was gone...she had the door held open so she could hears guests in the lobby and/or the phone...this allowed 1 of the cats to curiously enter the room and you unfortunately walked in at that time. I apologize for that, but the staff have to be able to clean the room simultaneously monitoring the desk...during COVID, we contemplated (and many hotels actually did) closing breakfast altogether, but we thought it important to keep it for our guests...but we cannot have more than 1 person monitoring it as it would prove too costly and we could not do it. So again, we are sorry...but it is easy to notice that is the only thing you were concerned about, so we are assuming, as with all of our other guests, that our customer service, cleanliness, amenities, safety, parking etc, were all top of the line per usual or I am certain you would have mentioned something...so truly, aside from the cat in the breakfast room, there were no other issues and so we are very glad that you enjoyed your stay. We will look forward to serving you again and finding more ways to correct and make things better for you!

We went to Millinocket to observe the eclipse. We had three rooms. We had a great visit. Baxter Park Inn was exactly what we needed.

It was a very convenient place.

It was very good. The staff are very friendly. I love that they have a continental breakfast. The room was very nice and warm. I stayed a couple nights, so I could take advantage of some snowshoeing fairly closeby. I'd definitely stay there again.

The facility is very dated. It was clean and staff were friendly. Due to staffing problems towels were changed daily, but little else was cleaned. That was fine with us as we are traveling with a dog so his bed and food/water dishes were on the floor. The included breakfast left room for improvement.
