One thing I will comment on is the food in the hotel for breakfast and dinner is phenomenal

Comfy bed, good breakfast. Bad restaurant.
Posted 17 Feb 2024 on HotelsI had some lovely sleep in Double Tree, the bed was huge and the room was airy and pleasant. Unfortunately neither mine nor my colleagues rooms were ready on arrival (after check in time) and we had to wait. One of us waited over an hour which is unacceptable. Reception staff didn’t seem to care.
Check out was terrible as well; items were incorrectly named on the invoice. This may have been because it was night staff but it needs to be correct especially for business users.
I only used the restaurant once because it was so salty it was inedible. If I wanted salt granulated all over my food and plate I would have added it myself. However breakfast was very good with a great mixture of hot and cold which catered for all tastes.
