Great place for the price range. Clean, quiet, and with big, plain rooms. I just wanted a quick overnight, and this was perfect. Plus there some good restaurants within a couple of miles. I'll stay here in the future.

They don’t have a pool and that was one of the main reasons I booked here so false advertisement then no house keeping at all I stayed for 3 night and had to keep calling front desk for new sheets to make my own bed and had to take out my own trash

After a long day of driving, I was looking for a evening meal and a nice rest. Upon arriving at the Middletown Va Econolodge, I discovered that other than McDonalds fast food, there was no other food available.
So I had to get back in my car and go search around (in an area unfamiliar to me) for someplace to eat.
I find it really frustrating that overnight accommodations are not located in places where various food establishments are also convenient.
Expedia (and the other travel sites) do a crappy job of recommending hotels without nearby food selections.

Location was good but dirty cloths and towels. Elevators not working, soda machine not working, ice machine broke also. S
