Staff were lovely, room was clean, warm and safe. Breakfast was great too.. basic accomodation but near the town centre and stadium which was where we were going

The room we stayed in room 35 had a big stain on the double mattress rubbish in the cupboard the shower were dirty full off mould could of done with a refurbishment and decorating the breakfast is nothing to write home about would not stop again bed was very uncomfortable to sleep on people doing drugs in the room and noisy when come to bedtime

On arrival a little disappointed, did not look great or welcoming , however staff were well presented and polite. Shown to first room which had other peoples luggage in, thank god our room was changed as it smelt terrible. Second room not much better, if we could have found another hotel we would have !! The door actual did not fit the gap, we had a sink in the room which not only did the water trickle out but not hot. Refused to use the shower as unpleasant, only one towel for two people. The bed was comfortable and sheets clean but only pillow per person. Did have tea and coffee facilities but took 15 mins to fill kettle. Overall it was overpriced and awful, I doubt anyone would ever go back for another stay, so it works for the management. Best thing they could do is knock it down and start again smarten the rooms up !!!

Bed frame all stained. Sink in the room where when turned on the water just trickled out. Holes etc.. in the walls .Overall the hotel needs cleaning and updating and to be used just as a hotel and not as temporary accommodation for the homeless.
A knock at the door in the early hours by another resident stating that they had used the shared toilet and did I have a cigarette for them !!! . Not something I would expect from a decent hotel.
As previous reviews mentioned, I believe this hotel is being used as temporary accommodation for the homeless.
We went down for breakfast ( not really expecting much due to the room condition) and we're disgusted at the state of the dining area and lack of food available. We left without eating anything due to the conditions in the dining area.
Whilst our stay was cheap it certainly didn't reflect good value for money and we certainly won't be going back next time we're ever in the area
