I used to live in the art deco district, and I wanted to go back to see my old stomping grounds. Don't bring a car to this area of the world. South Beach is a 15x15 Street area that you do not want to drive in. You do not want to find parking here. You do not want to pay for parking here. If you are going to South beach, take a taxi from the airport to South Beach and figure out other transportation options once you get there.
The staff is so friendly and wonderful.
This is a booming tourist fun area, so you're going to hear cars and you're going to hear the parrots outside fighting and you're going to hear people on the street. But our room was in the back and it was very quiet.
The beauty of South Beach is that you don't want to stay in your hotel room. You want to go outside and have a coffee or go to a Cuban restaurant or walk to the beach or look at the phenomenally beautiful art Deco architecture everywhere.
You will meet people from all over the world who just want to have fun. It's such a beautiful place, and the Chesterfield gave us all of the old fashioned art deco charm.
Make the most of your setting. This is a perfect hotel for someone who wants to be active every single hour that they are awake. We visited museums, we sunned and swam, and it was one of the best weekends I've ever had.

The room that’s showed on Expedia isn’t the room I received upon arrival! Looks nothing like the picture!

The only suggestion I will say to put a stand-up mirror in every room we are visiting and we would like to see ourselves full body when we get in ready to go out. And everything will be perfect. 😉Ty
