This is the most accommodating hotel I've experienced, in the US and abroad. They had someone wait up for us when our flight was cancelled and our new flight didn't arrive until 4am, to ensure that we go into the property and our rooms without issue. They provided a list of recommended sites and restaurants in English to us, knowing that English was our first language. Chris V was an outstanding host, with excellent language skills, who made us feel welcome and at home. The complimentary breakfast every morning was delicious, and they offered us a free drink at least twice to ensure we felt appreciated as guests. The property is quirky, charming, and immaculate. It does double as a Thai restaurant in the evenings, so it can get a little busy and loud, but quiets down by 10pm so we never had any issues. I would recommend any couple (or group of single friends) stay at this hotel. I cannot say enough positive things about it, and I will absolutely stay there again when I return to Mexico City.

The Le Louis is under new management. It is now primarily a large Thai restaurant. My husband & I only found this out once we arrived at the property. There is no hotel reception desk. After waiting 15 minutes, the manager told us ‘our’ room probably wouldn’t suit us as the restaurant is very busy & noisy. Our room door opened on to a restaurant table. I told the manager that as they had my email address, we could have been notified several weeks before our arrival of the change of use of the property. It was difficult to find another room for 4 nights but we did & that hotel was excellent. There is no window in the Le Louis bedroom we reserved & the bathroom window opened onto the restaurant! I have never encountered such an unprofessional hotel in my many years of traveling. The restaurant is still listed on all the booking sites as the ‘Le Louis’ hotel. The information & the photos are misleading. I hope Expedia & other sites remove this property so others don’t arrive to the same sham.

My first impression was "Wow, this hotel looks even better than the pictures!" I loved all the decore in my room and patio with water fountain was very relaxing. Eric , the manager was very helpful and accommodating .I would give him 5 star for his customer service. Eduardo, who served me breakfast every morning was very nice and friendly. He made me delicious cupchino.Breakfast was very good and location was walkable to restaurants and bars as well as nice boutiques.I can't wait to come back to stay here again!

First, the good: It's a beautiful, newly remodeled place. Staff are very friendly and try their best. Now, what could be fixed: 1. If you check-in after the restaurant closes, you're stuck standing on a dark street. We arrived ~9 PM, front door was locked, nobody was answering the phone. After ~20 mins, a guy hears us talking outside and lets us in. There's a secret button you have to press to summon the manager. Probably would be good to email your guests and tell them that before they show up. Other nights, when we came back from dinner, pressing the button didn't help as the staff were partying and couldn't hear it. At least these nights they answered the phone and came to open the door, but the loud party went on until well after midnight. My suggestions to the management would be to a) add a smart lock so that guests can open the door with their phone, and b) end the staff parties before guest bedtime. 2. Day one there was no hot water. Not like the water heater was broken; literally they'd turned off the hot water to the room so we had to ask to get it turned on. They fixed it by the afternoon, but still. 3. You have to run out of toilet paper before they'll put a new roll in the bathroom. Management: just stick a couple rolls in the bathroom. What probably can't be fixed: It's loud. Very loud. You're basically staying in a restaurant. Luckily, it's usually empty, but even then, there's rave music playing loudly all day. Unless you're deaf, bring your earplugs.

We had a lot of noise on the first night right outside the door in an Intimate boutique that’s not cool, but they made up for it with apologies and a dinner to help with our tired grumpy selves The actual place is Devine. ! Easy to get to everything great staff and lovely atmosphere with very beautiful artworks amazing beds and lovely rooms .... No aircon is an issue and fans are LOUD !!! so that’s a problem sleeping in the hot room and very small window to get air in... For that money they need aircon for sure :) Breakfast is amazing and so is the onsite chefs meals

The bathtub was so cool. Juice and coffee are included for breakfast, no food - so an included breakfast would’ve been better.

Le Louis was a beautiful space of eclectic art and furnishings. Located in Roma Norte it offered easy access to Condesa and the surrounding neighborhoods. The staff was friendly and always available. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for something a little different for their Roma stay.
