Lovely, in every way!
Posted 20 Mar 2023 on HotelsAn absolute must-stay if you're looking for a beautiful, comfortable and perfectly located spot in Coyoacán. Located on a sleepy street, the Chalet has a lovely atrium central garden, and has incredibly helpful and friendly staff. There's a reason I've returned to stay here three times!

THANK YOU FOR A GREAT STAY! Staff makes you feel like family. Hotel is intimate & you feel like you're staying with relatives. It is located in a quiet neighborhood. Doesn't look like a hotel from the outside. We were greeting by owner, very kind. Beware that you may have to climb stairs a few times to get to your room. But I would definitely stay here again. Everything was walking distance.

When I got there it felt as if I was coming home. They accommodated my room with an extra bed in the case my father who lives in Mexico D.F. wanted to stay. This was a result of a short conversation I had with Manuel, who owns Chalet del Carmen with his wife. Everyone is friendly and made me feel welcomed. Highly recommend staying here. The area is beautiful. Near restaurants and walking distance from the Frida Kahlo Museum. Overall, I love this place and will be back on my future visits to Mexico City.
