Small hotel with need of a little tlc, but being of such an age it is to be expected - some would say old fashioned. Staff were excellent and being only guests for some of our visit we received excellent service. It was a pity that it was not busier. Simple breakfast but tasty. Lovely pool area and pool. Hotel is located on outskirts of Es Castell with a 10-15 minute walk to port. We enjoyed our stay and would like to thank Julian, Benni and Laura for being so attentive to our needs.

Absolutely amazing - highly recommended

Pros: The staff, the facilities, the restaurant
We stayed at Son Granot for 4 nights, and we couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. The room was super comfortable, very clean and calm. We really enjoyed the breakfast and the swimming pool as well. The restaurant was absolutely delicious; we spent so much time looking for places to eat and the best one out of all of them was by far the restaurant at Son Granot. By far, the best part of the experience was meeting the wonderful staff—thank you for everything!!

Lovely quiet hotel, really close to airport

Posted 21 Aug 2018
Pros: Quiet, good location and friendly. Clean rooms.
Cons: The food in the restaurant. Maybe change the breakfast options around a bit too? Coat of paint in the bedroom.
Location: Take boat trips, car hire to explore the Island. Harbour nearby for good choice of restaurant in Es Castell. Visit Mahon. Great beaches but busy!
Overall we had a lovely stay, the staff were helpful. I think it would have been good if the shutters had been repaired as the storms and wind meant they were banging about and kept us awake. Would be great to have a club sandwich option for lunch by the pool and someone to see if we wanted drinks? Only seemed to happen on our first day. Had dinner there the first night but would prefer really good 'home cooked' traditional Spanish /Menorcan food. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but a few improvements could make it even better an experience.

Fantastic hotel close to Mahon

Posted 12 Aug 2018
Pros: Location, staff, facilities (especially the pool) were just amazing.
Cons: Bathrooms are not the most modern, but they are clean and fully functional.
We had a really nice stay at Son Granot. All staff were really friendly and welcoming, the rooms are really nice and the communal areas (restaurant, terrace, pool) are great. We really enjoyed the complementary breakfast out on the terrace, and spent every afternoon by the pool after coming back from the beach. The hotel is walking distance to Es Castell, where you have some nice restaurants, and just a short drive to Mahon where we went for dinner most nights. It is well located to go and explore different beaches on both the south and north coast. When leaving, we had a late night flight, and Julian kindly offered us a room for the day where we could keep our things and take a shower before heading to the airport, which meant we could get the most out of our last day on Menorca.
