You're not treated as a number. The staff take a genuine interest, the hotel is kept clean and furniture is either new or well maintained.
The food was simple but seemed healthy.
The only genuine negatives are a lack of free filtered drinking water and modernisation of bathrooms to have walk in showers rather than bath tubs which could be a little slippy

A quiet and relaxing place to stay
Posted 12 Jul 2019 on HotelsWe really enjoyed our stay in this quiet and historically interesting hotel. Rooms are comfortable and spacious. Lovely pool with sun beds and terrace. Pretty, shaded garden to have a drink.
Staff are very friendly and helpful, and happily arranged car hire for us too.
One criticism is that there is no bar service between 3 and 5pm; during the hottest part of the day it is not possible to buy any drinks- even water.
Location is between Mahon and Es Castell; both can be walked to in less than half an hour, but therefore only suited to fit people unless you have a car. No closer restaurants or bars, though the hotel itself does a good choice of food, during specific hours.
We particularly loved Calesfonts in Es Castell for our evenings.
Would not think the best for families with children, or anyone with walking difficulty, but recommend for a peaceful, relaxing place to stay.
