the hotel was great rooms good , many things like pool for swimming ,hot tub and different games . Very close to centre of town

Friendly staff, great pool
Posted 16 Mar 2021 on HotelsThe hotel has a great pool and grounds. Breakfast was offered for an additional fee. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Melgar is not as nice as some other cities, but if you want to stay away from the town in a nice pool, this is a good option. The beds were pretty uncomfortable and we had to ask for an extra mattress since the bed was so hard. Used the pool and spa services and they were great.

Sadly the receptionist looked unhappy every time we required her assistance as well as the bartender. We had to wait too long after going outside for the staff to open the gate since it was always locked and with no free access.Also, it was very upsetting having booked the room in the Expedia website at $550.000 COP and later receiving an email directly from the hotel confirming that the actual price was $684.500 COP. I had used this website in the past and never had this issue. Another very annoying aspect was loud music next door during both nights which didn’t allow us to sleep and rest properly.
Other than that the cleaning staff was very nice and servicing and the place is very well maintained and tidy.
