Average, nice room but we were sent to the wrong room initially (we had booked a balcony suit and confined this at check in), had to bring all our stuff back to the front desk.. meant even though we started check in at 2.10 we didn’t get into our actual room til nearly 3pm..

Lighting circuit not working for 3 down lights in lounge. Air-conditioning needing servicing so couldn't turn on the bedroom one. The room is a weird shape and therefore cramped in parts needing to climb over furniture to access other parts of the room.

Location is excellent, however, we booked 1 night and another 2 nights the following week (all booked before we arrived in Melbourne) and realised immediately that the rooms were run down. Needs painting etc. 1st night room the tv remote didn’t work in the bedroom, you can’t get toilet roll with ease as it is tucked in behind you on the left hand side of the basin, no face washer supplied, no milk and no English Breakfast Tea Bags. Following week 2 nights same room 1 floor above, tv didn’t work at all in bedroom, reported to reception and advised he would send someone up to fix problem, waited for couple of hours, no one showed up, went back to reception and spoke to same man and he said he will get someone to call our room in a few minutes. Never heard from anyone, and all the same problems from the 1st night. We paid good money for a 1 bedroom apartment (king size) with a tv in bedroom and it was broken and they didn’t careless. Other than that the lady on both occasions who we checked in with was lovely and courteous.

Great location. However, toilet roll holder in bathroom was NOT EASY to access. There was NO facewasher in bathroom which is a must for females and the remote in bedroom didn’t work. Other than that, the location was great and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Had been traveling around and seeing Victoria, when we decided to stay in Docklands. Thinking Sebel would represent a good experience, it wasn't up to par with 3 star establishments we'd stayed at. As example, the shower head just flopped because of lack of maintenance. Maybe our expectation was too high due to reputation of Sebel.

Overall the stay was great, good facilities & good location. For the price we were a little surprised with the additional $40 per night for parking when there was no mention that parking would be at an additional cost. Rooms were lovely & clean but the furniture was quite worn & damaged.
