Denis was always friendly and helpful--even helping me connect my computer to the internet when I was having tech issues. His assistant, Cherry, was also friendly and helpful. My daughter enjoyed the heated pool and jacussi. Everything about the hotel was perfect--though I have two suggestions: 1) my mattress was too soft--it would be great if the hotel could provide a futon upon request; 2) the hotel has only 2 washing machines and 2 dryers--not enough for such a big hotel. They should add 1 or two more washing machines and dryers. My heartfelt thanks to the Grand Hotel's friendly and competent staff.

I liked the Convenience to Southern Cross and airport buses including all public transport. Large comfortable affordable and clean accomodation. The old fashioned sincere friendly staff and serviceis a breath of fresh air. Some areas , kitchens, feel a little tired.

Beautiful old building, spacious rooms with high ceilings and stunning long internal hallways. Great value and easy to move around the city from here with free trams in the city block. Very little city noise which was surprising. All staff were lovely, check-in was fast and checkout easy too. I'd recommend this to anyone

We had a great stay, we were made to feel very welcome. All staff were absolutely lovely to deal with. Our room was clean and tidy and perfect for our overnight stay.

Excellent hotel with extremely spacious rooms. Very accommodating staff. The pool was terrific and kept a very comfortable warm temperature for swimming lengths. Would definitely recommend it and would stay here again.
