The property is well located to transport and is a comfortable walk to the action. Great food options and theatre. The rooms are spacious and well appointed but soundproofing is lacking and if you have a noisey neighbour, as I did with an adjoining door, then you are subjected hearing their conversations word for word.

A few minor maintenance issues need to be attended. Avoid the top floor if you are a light sleeper, fans run on the roof all night long.

The room was spacious and the bed comfy but otherwise there are a lot of improvements needed. We stayed for 3 nights. The kitchenette worktop was damaged making it unhygienic. There were no dinner plates and no washing up liquid. The promised daily housecleaning did not happen meaning we had to ask for extra toilet paper and coffee but they were unable to give us milk. The tea towel needed changing daily as did the bath mat and hand towels, and we had to make do as when we asked, we were told housekeeping had gone home. We loved the location but management needs to make improvements.

Our room wasn’t ready and we couldn’t get in until 6pm. The fridge didn’t work and we had to complain twice for them to agree it didn’t work. It was replaced more than 24 hours after arrival. Otherwise the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel was very quiet with great block out curtains. Not too far to walk to shops and trams close by.

The only thing I didnt like about the property was that the airconditioning was so loud at night time and you couldnt turn it off. Also this wouldnt be suitable for older people as the shower is in the bath so would be hard for them to get in. Apart from these two things it was great. The beds were comfy and it was lovely and clean.
