Wow! This place is amazing, especially if you love animals. The hosts are very friendly and let us feed the baby kangaroo. My daughter had so much fun

We stayed in the King Room - the bedroom was lovely and the bed really comfy, the bathroom was great, the kitchenette offers basics - no cooking facility/bbq except microwave (we brought sausages for dinner, oops!) but does have kettle and toaster. However the adjoining room means there is no privacy, our neighbours arrived at 10.40pm on a Monday night which woke us up and then kept us awake as we could hear their conversations, walking around their rooms, showers, I swear I even heard the creak of their bed as they sat down! The animals and night tour are fantastic (perhaps best suited for school aged kids as there’s a lot of things around that they can’t touch), we will return but will book the family unit so we have a bbq and no next door neighbours. The hosts were friendly from a distance. My daughter would have loved an area she could play freely in.

As stated we supply a basic contiental breakfast in the king room and have cooking facilities to suit that purpose. Our king room shares a wall with another room and is completely private and has its own entrance. We are sorry that your neighbors may have been noisy however we find most people are very respectful. We find all ages enjoy our free nocturnal tour and the highlights of the tour is patting kangaroos, feeding wombats, holding reptiles and meeting our sugar gliders.

If you love animals, you must stay at this B&B (there’s 450 to see and are very well looked after). Loo and Steve were excellent hosts and the nocturnal tour was the highlight. To be able to pat dingoes and sugar gliders is a unique experience. Also to be able to watch some of the animals on camera from your in-room live view screen was so cool. The Kings room was perfect for a couple; the bed was comfy, the bathroom large with a heater and it had a separate lounge & kitchenette. Don’t expect a cooked breakfast but we were happy with what was provided (even though we didn’t eat brekky coz we weren’t hungry). We can’t wait to come back as I’m sure the hard working Loo & Steve will have added to their menagerie by then.

Very homely, rustic and an extremely relaxed atmosphere without the need of fake perfection and toffiness found at "high class" motels. This place is a true get away to unwind without unnecessary airs and flairs. 10 out of 10.

Very nice stay

I booked in at Twist of Willow as we were attending a wedding just up the road. It is a very interesting establishment as the rooms are in the middle of a farm-like environment. Unfortunately, our time was limited so we were not able to walk the area and check out the animals, except for those adjacent to the path from the parking space to the room. We booked the King Room which had heaps of space and was very comfortable. A very interesting aspect was that there was a Nocturnal Animal Channel where you could view those animals on a screen in the bedroom. The only negative comment I can make is that one of the guests in the Queen Room next door was talking quite loud and kept my wife awake until they went to bed about 2.00 am. Otherwise, it was a very good stay.

Hi Thanks for your feedback. We have a zoo on the property which includes, wombats, dingoes, emus, wedge tail eagle, kangaroos (including two white ones), owls, quolls and more. Sorry about the guests talking loudly, but luckily most of the time our guests staying are considerate of others. Loo & Zoo : )
