Made reservations months in advance for deluxe room. When checking in was told I could only have a basic room because I was traveling with my service dog. Told the price would be reduced, but at check out, I was told I would need to pay for the more expensive room since I booked with Expedia. The basic room was the size of a walk in closet. The room was very clean, yet the bathroom glasses were not replaced, but left from the night before. The water bottle placed in the room was not exchanged, but left empty. Lastly, the soap was 1 container of liquid soap for everything, by that I mean, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. It was attached to the wall and very difficult to use. You had to squeeze with both hands, therefore no way to catch except to pick up off floor of shower. It would seem that a luxurious hotel as this that had a spa would have individual soaps and even lotion and shower cap but no, just 1 bottle of liquid soap.

Dear guest, they travel without information with a dog.We still allow you to spend the night with your pet. Pets are extra charge as in any other hotel in the world. If your booked category is higher, then you must correct this via the booking portal. The Welcome Water is a free of charge addition to our hotel. Soap containers are a normal standard equipment, if you want more, a brief information would have satisfied the reception. I regret that we could not live up to your expectations. Romantic

Expedia posted thes hotel at 13 miles from eisenach. Actually was 26 and took almost an hour to get there. However, the hotel was awesome. A perfect place for a romantic getaway.

Truly special

We had a lovely time in this very special hotel. The beautiful environment, the rooms, the restaurant, everything exceeded our expectation. The friendly staff really made us feel like a special guest in their magic castle.

No bar area. The area that might serve as bar ( library) was storage for furnitures! At last, when we found a waiter, we got a beer in the lobby. We wanted to have a look in the spa/gym area when the door was closed, which was Close to the reception but " we don´t do that". They had their rules from their management, that wasn´t very customfriendly.

Super freundlich empfangen- Service im Restaurant Top- Küche sehr zu empfehlen. Auch bei sehr wenig Gästen gab es ein Top Frühstück
