None of the pool or hot tub facilities are running. Guests were fighting in the dirty hallways to the point where police showed up. There is garbage everywhere and graffiti in the stairwell. In the morning i had their breakfast where a guest was volunteering to make coffee while the employee was on her cell phone. Wifi doesn't work, nor does the TV remote. My room has dirt on the floor and water spots on all the mirrors. Absolutely disgusting experience.

It's not the Ritz, it's an affordable budget hotel. It's an older building (I'd guess from the 70's) and it shows it's age. However, the room was very clean, the A/C works, the water was hot and the staff were good. I never used the pool or hot tub but they looked clean as well. The breakfast was very basic, but at this price point, I wouldn't expect much more. It was one of the most inexpensive motels on the Hwy 1 strip and if I was still on a budget, I would stay there again.

Checking in the lady at the front desk was awesome but the male was a bit of an ahole towards her. No toilet paper in the room. Room wasnt cleaned very well. I didnt have a coffee machine in mine good thing i brought mine. The hallways were not vacummed at all. Bathtub didnt looked like it was cleaned still hair in the tub from previous. Tried having breakfast nothing there there was only 1 person there who had to watch the front desk and do breakfast. The only reason didnt get a total bad review was the staff workng there, overwhelmed but trying the best they could.

The person who checked us in had a definite attitude problem. The hallways were very hot. The smoke alarm in the room was not attached but was in a drawer. There was just a wire hanging from the ceiling where it should have been. Even with the air conditioner on it never got below 27 C. There were no towels, face cloths or kleenex in the room. It took 2 phone calls for someone to come and all he brought was 2 towels nothing else! There were rough looking people wandering around the hotel and the main floor seemed to have quite a few living there with dogs and cats. Before booking the room I phoned and asked if the swimming pool was open and was told that it was but it was closed! They served a breakfast but my wife went down at 6AM to check it out and said that it did not look very good so we left We are retired and have stayed at a lot of hotels in the last 10 years and this was the worst experience we have ever had. Needless to say we won't be booking here again and would advise anyone to go elsewhere!

I arrived at the hotel at 7pm Friday and given a room and when I got to the room, it looked like someone had been napping on the bed. It was rumpled up and used. The floors in the hallways were dirty, and transients obviously live in this “hotel” the bottom floor suites seem to be full of people that are homeless, on substances or require police attention When they sent someone to my room the first thing he asked me was if I had used the bed. Since this is the reason why I complained I was not happy of being accused of this. He offered to “clean” the room, and I told him I wanted another room as you cannot clean a room in 5 minutes. I’ve worked in housekeeping. The manager/owner gave me a different room, which was very nice of them. It was a clean room and on the second floor. The carpets in the hallways were dirty, when I went for breakfast in the morning at the continental breakfast at 7am (it’s open from 6-9am) there was no food. All the eggs and sausages were gone and they weren’t replacing them on regular intervals. Amazingly, it was actually quite quiet in the area, except for a few police visits to some of the people in the bottom floor suites. I had my dog with me, and thank goodness because when I had to walk her there is quite a few transient type people loitering around the property. There is overflowing cigarette cans and garbage cans everywhere and clothing, shoes, slippers and garbage strewn around the area. Would not stay here again or recommend it ever
