The renovation on this hotel was done well in terms of appearance. The mix valve in our shower was broken. You had to spin it round and round until it started showering. Then it went from scalding hot water back to colder. It seems it is a liability to me. The other issue is they have a security light that shines directly into room 216 so it looks like it is daylight outside the room (All night Long) Didn't make my wife happy. They don't have the best blackout curtains. The breakfast area was laid out well. They have holding temperatures visible on the front of the units. The one holding the grits and biscuits was at 170. The one holding the bacon and eggs was only 161. That should be at least 165 before serving. I did not get sick or anything, but the food is better when it is hotter. I didn't look closely at the fridge holding the milk, yogurt and other perishables. They almost never are correct (too warm) and they blame it on people opening the doors all the time. I liked the fact that all of the utensils were individually wrapped. When they aren't protected, employees almost always put them in the holders backwards. I would stay at this hotel again, but I would make sure the bathroom functioned properly next time.

This hotel was not a bad stay. However, the parking is not the best.
