Really lovely and as good as ever.
Posted 22 Jan 2022 on HotelsCasa do Sol was quiet compared to our previous stays here but this didn't stop the staff doing everything they could to make our stay agreeable.
Of particular note was the high standard of the food which we thoroughly enjoyed.
Go now and enjoy as the hotel will soon be busy again.
A great place to stay before you go into Kruger.

needed a thorough clean - tiles in shower had mildew and cobwebs in the room, carpets smelt musty. paving on pathway covered with moss- hazardous. needs a good scrubbing. worst was the lack of food. we were told that they had 2 hake, 1 steak, no burgers etc yet they were on the menu. no tomato sauce , jam

Nice to return back

nice place with connections to many areas. staff helped me book last minutes tours. the only thing is that the place was not cleaned or set up for my arrival. the bathroom was not clean!

Great overall ... with a couple suggestions
Posted 14 Jun 2019 on HotelsWe Loved this hotel! The rooms were great, the bathrooms were clean with great water pressure in the showers. The food and location was perfect. It was fun to see the monkeys in property and the Elephants from the next property while on property. To improve: make sure electricity is working in all rooms - my friend has not electricity and then no outlets working in her 2 rooms. Ours though was great. Also, check in and front desk service was very slow - it seemed the staff strugled with the PCs. The food service staff and the bell staff were FANTASTIC. If we go back we will want to stay here again.
