They claimed NOT to have the booking for which I had prepaid. I had to pay again on the spot or have nowhere to stay. The breakfast wasn't ready and the service so poor that the next day we skipped it completely. The TV didn't work. Overall I will never book this venue again.

Disappointing experience at Dwaleni Farm Lodge

I was very disappointed because Dwaleni Farm Lodge made me pay the full amount because they said they didn't receive payment nor email notification of my booking from Hotels.com. My room was also not cleaned the following day, tea bags and sugar not replenished. When I asked for an iron the following morning, it took over an hour for me to get it. Eventually, I told the receptionist I was not going to leave the reception until they gave me the iron. Within 5 mins, I got the iron All in all, i don't think ill ever go back there again.

Delightful, clean accommodation in a relaxed and peaceful environment. Dining experiences were an absolute disaster-dining service was non existent until receptionist called the waiter or after ringing of the table bell a few times. Every meal chosen was not available - from basics of yoghurt or fruit juice at breakfast to fish or burgers at dinner. Coffee is not available, when requested we got sachets of Ricoffy with water after a long wait. Menu is fancy and attractive giving you a variety choices though.We were the only 2 people in the restaurant so this service (actually non service) was not justified. When we finally got our meals (1 of only choices) it was awful. Accommodation is great but too far away from any other place to get food so would recommend anyone staying here to please have an alternate means of food or snacks.

Beautiful and comfortable escape!

Beautiful surprise and warmly welcomed! We arrived at dark and were checked in right away and escorted to beautiful executive suite. High thatched ceiling with kitchenette with hot water pit and small fridge. Separate large bedroom and bathroom with a huge bathtub separate shower. Linens were great with cotton bathrobes! The end of road to get there is not finished but adds to the adventure and rustic aspects of a rustic farm lodge yet a beautiful thatch cottage awaits you! Pool was beautiful and just outside our door. Dinner was fresh and tasty. Has 17 cottages and 1 is executive suite... they are continually making enhancements a lot was accomplished in just our 33 days. But the staff avidly works together and are super friendly

Hübsch

Die Anfahrt ist etwas mühselig, da die Unterkunft abseits der Hauptstrasse an einer unbefestigten sehr holprigen Straße liegt. Die Anlage und die Zimmer in eigenen kleinen Hütten sind sehr hübsch und gut gepflegt. Nur unsere Dusche funktionierte nicht richtig. Die Aussicht ist toll. Wir waren die einzigen Gäste aber der Service war nett.

Hotel en travaux de renovation repas pris sur place le soir plus que moyen proprete deschambres moyenne le personnel n'a pas de connaissanve sur les bisites dans la region
