Lush views, breath taking, but the hotel needs a bit of touch up, fact that won't affect your stay so I would give a 8 out of 10 to the hotel

Nice Pool, Great views, Poor sleep.
Posted 18 Jul 2019 on HotelsBeautiful scenery. Pool was nice (and warm). One complaint though: The extra bed (converted sofa) was of such poor quality. Never tried anything like it. Just not good enough when you take the cost into account.

Pros: beautiful rooms. great location. wonderful entertainment. pleasant staff
Cons: check-in process is difficult. numbering of rooms is poor
Location: great for kids. lienze has fun attractions and possible to go to Italy for pizza lunch
overall, a very good hotel. would recommend it. rooms are big; many with sauna; staff is friendly; food and entertainment are big pluses

Good base for exploring Hohe Tauern National Park
Posted 19 Aug 2016 on HotelsWe opted to stay at Hotel Goldried so that we had easy access to The Hohe Tauern National Park. After a delayed flight to Innsbruck we did not arrive at the hotel until just before 9.00 pm but were able to get a simple bite to eat in smaller of the two restaurants. The breakfast was plentiful and with a good choice. We opted to use the garage at the bottom of the hotel which was accessed via a funicular carriage which was reasonable value at €4.00 per day. All the reception staff spoke good English so the language barrier was non-existent :-)

Posted 12 Jun 2016 on HotelsMy friends and I arrived late and I was worried that check in wouldn't go smooth. The woman working was very sweet and wonderfully charming. The room was amazing with plenty of room and amenities. The view was awesome as well.
