Nice location but to small of a room
Posted 13 Nov 2019 on HotelsThe location is beautiful in the nature and super quite. We however where disappointed with the room. It was most likely the tiniest room we stayed ever. There is only a curtain separating the bath/toilet from the bed so all the "smell" goes into the room.
The "pool" is some old plastic piece and on the way to the pool one can see some huts and landscaping in bad shape which are not rooms but do belong to the hotel.

The Chalé Cosy, is the only small category we have which is ideal for one person and which is also, noted in our confirmation that you receive right after you make a reservation. It is a chalé of 9m2, and we almost always give the opportunity to our hosts to opt for a bigger one.
Our swimming pool is correspondent to a pousada of 14 chalés and it is made of fibre, not plastic.
On the way to the pool area, what one can see is the old huts that are of internal use of the pousada. Some still under reconstruction, but always remaining on the same old brasilian style, that makes part of our pousada.
We look forward to welcoming you back to Capitù in the future!

A little piece of paradise

Pros: Natural setting, friendly service, English speaking, tasty bar snacks/lunch, simple luxurious.
Cons: Less artificial lighting, especially on the beach front where marine turtles nest (and since the beach bar i closed at night anyway).
Location: Lovely village, non-touristy. Plenty of restaurant options & activities. Stunning coastline with white sandy beach. Tours for wider exploration.
A little piece of tropical paradise in Bahia! Lovely hotel, wonderful friendly service and great rooms in a non-touristy, peaceful location. We didn't eat in the restaurant, but the bar snacks were really delicious and there were plenty of great options for breakfast.
I only scored it 4/5 because I felt there was more artificial lighting than necessary, especially for such a natural, eco-friendly setting. I would have preferred less lighting to reduce the impact on the local nocturnal wildlife, especially along the riverside and on the beach front.
Overall I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for peace and quiet in simple and (almost) perfect luxury.

Pousada muito agradável

Os funcionários são muito atenciosos, com destaque para o Danilo, para a Lau do café da manhã (que por sinal é excelente) e para a gerente Adriane, um amor de pessoa. Voltarei com certeza.

Serviço dos funcionários excelente, todos muito agradáveis e simpáticos. O ar condicionado faz falta durante o dia, impossível ficar no quarto. Durante a noite não tem problema. A internet é péssima não funciona.
