The welcoming staff was warm and helpful. Our bedroom was very small. The road to get there was quite challenging. But overall, we really enjoyed our stay right next to the castle.

We had the room next to the hot tub with a balcony overlooking the valley, the cities below and the mountains. Wow, wow, wow! Fort was right next door. Restaurants were available even though it wasn’t high season. We fell in love with Marvão. What a wonderful place

A rustic classic bed and breakfast with a warm hot tub is a nice pavilion on the edge of a cliff. Really quite wonderful. Marvão, of course, is a special, magical place that is not to be missed. Highly recommend.

Nice and well-maintained hotel right next to the Marvão castle. It is a unique experience to visit Marvão's town and castle, and to stay at Dom Dinis.

Close to the castle. The rooms and furnishings are dated. We had a bathtub with a hand held wand not very convenient. They had a nice jacuzzi that you could hook and use which was nice. Not much open. Disappointing stop. One night would have been enough. We stayed 2

Great breakfast, nice oasis in a convenient, walkable, urban setting. Sunset from the rooftop lounge area was an unexpected extra.

Marvao was such a cute mountaintop village with a castle.
The hotel was very clean and comfortable.
I would suggest asking for a room away from the road since our room was right next to the road and the tire noise was loud on the cobblestones as cars and trucks pasted by. There was no noticeable traffic at night so the room was very quiet then. The staff are excellent. Breakfast was very good. We stayed for two nights and considered our stay as a quiet retreat from our busy Portugal trip. We had a lovely time here.
