The hotel is nice and the staff was friendly. While the location was near many sites, that entire area is dirty, loud and felt unsafe especially at night. I was very disappointed with the inaccuracy of the reviews that said it was in a great location but understand opinions are totally subjective. If you’re a female solo traveling, I recommend you look elsewhere. Again, the hotel itself and staff were nice but the location is terrible.

Know that Marseille is the french south capital city so as every crowded areas there are a lot of diversity and animations around. We feel sorry that you felt uncomfortable with it. The dirtyness of some streets belong to the city council, things that we do not have access to act. Ashim was very sweet and nice guy that was at the reception Night Shift he was very helpful always smiling and professional .The guy who worked during the day was also as nice and professional I just don’t remember his name. The hotel room is very basic, but clean and I love that water pressure was really good and hot and we felt pretty safe even though the location has a hood kind of vibe, but it was totally safe to walk around even late at night and always find good affordable options for food

All went well. Achim helped me in my check in and check out. He was extremely nice, polite and helpful. The accomodation was super clean and organized. I liked the location as well. Super close to the port and all restaurants

The hotel was very nice and friendly. Unfortunately I got robbed by the hotel entrance door on entering the hotel early Saturday morning. Be aware there are wallet snatchers in the area on foot and moped. Having said that, the security guard was excellent in calling the police and walking me to the police station. The hotel staff were very apologetic and offered to help in lots of ways.. I cannot thank them enough. Please be aware of guys talking to you on approach to the hotel. They wait for you to take your room key out of your wallet and then they snatch it and run off then jump on their mates moped and speed off

We are truly and sincerely saddened that an incident occured out close to our main entrance by a thief. Saddly as every big cities pickpockets are mostly in touristic places where they can genuinely act discreetly and fast. Nonetheless we are delighted that our friendly and effective night receptionist did assist you with all steps to make a statement and called police services for you. It is important to us to support each guest staying in our hotel, whether with the safety or other services. Be sure that I will pass this kind words towards my colleague and hopefully you will keep in mind only great memories and go far away over this sad story.Note that you will always be welcome in our hotel and we look very much forward a future visit from you Warmly yours,

The staff was not really friendly. Our room had a sewage door which was absolutely gross. The area was dirty but the hotel is in a very good walking location to everything.
