Dirty carpet in common areas, dusty room. Hotel name on door doesn’t match chain name so you don’t even know if you’re in the right place. No care has been taken for maintenance or cleanliness

Good value for money
Posted 6 Apr 2019 on HotelsWhen I checked in to the hotel they gave me a room on 4th floor which was not well lit up. The main light and table lamps were not working. I immediately informed them and they assured me that by 7 pm they would get the bulbs changed. When I got back to the hotel by 9 pm the same was not done and the staff was very casual about it. I asked to speak to the floor manager and that’s when they allocated another room to me on the ground floor. There was no other issue after that. I expected better service from the staff members, if they were not able to get the bulbs changed they shouldn’t have come up with excuses and should have offered me another room immediately instead of arguing that they didn’t have another room and only gave it to me when I demanded to speak to their manager. Other than this incident the staff was very pleasant, courteous and helpful at all times. The room was cleaned everyday and my overall stay was very good. The hotel is centrally located, is close to the metro station, palace of justice and the city center area of Vieux port.

First day, room heater was not working
Second day they bought an additional heater
Last but not the least, I found cockroach in the bathroom.

Worst experience
Posted 28 Jul 2018 on HotelsThe hotel was in extremely bad condition and it looked as if it hadn't been cleaned for years. I arrived at 10pm approximately and was met with the only person working at the hotel who had no computer or internet and told me I had no booking there as he had nothing written down. I was on the phone for a long time before getting an alternative accommodation but this was the most stressful experience I had travelling and possibly at the worst and dirtiest of hotels.

Basic Room

If you are looking for a hotel that is no frills and walking distance to Notre-Dame de la Guard and the Port Vieux this is a good location. Lots of restaurants on the port and little patisseries up and down the street close to the hotel. Bring comfortable clothes and shoes. No views from the hotel. The reception team were very kind and helpful.

Cons: the size of the shower is small which is make it inconvenient

Posted 24 Apr 2018 on HotelsGreat location just a few minutes walk to the vieux port. Smallish hotel anf freindly staff. Maybe could do with a bit of sprucing up but ideal for a short stay and reasonably priced. Also 1 minute from metro

Disapointed

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything
Shower was so small that I couldn't even bend down to wash my legs. There was no parking facilities and had to use a public car park that didn't issue a ticket.
The room had only 1 power point and that was after I unplugged the phone.
The breakfast was 9 EUR for a basic continental not buffet and the flooring was slanted.
The place was that bad that I decided to leave a day earlier and move on to my next destination.
