Amazing place

We had the most amazing family time. Staff is great , hotel very clean , service is excellent. we arrived around 12:30 PM , and staff checked us in already. Also the rooms booked were garden view , and they got us pool/sea view. It goes without saying the beach there is insane. Overall it was a wonderful time spent , and am glad Carols is still maintaining their quality lever.

very old room furniture that is in a very bad condition, fridge not working, closets and beds almost expired. in general whole hotel needs renovation. level of cleanliness for rooms, restaurants, public toilets very poor. All inclusive offering extremely poor, no bottle of water could be provided but have to go get from water dispenser, no fresh juices, no ice creams, coffee is provided in Nescafe classic only, food quality very poor. staff doesn't help. staff appearance and cleanliness very poor. while hotel pricing is high. hotel should be max 3 starts hotel not 5 at all.

Quiet and secluded but means of transportation to the city Are very limited. Dining as a whole was less than what is expected at a classified as a 5 stars hotel. Friendly staff and very helpful. Beautiful beach, white sand and turquoise water .

Carols Hotel Marsa Matrouh

The site is very well kept. Beach clean except the presence of Burka women in the water (what a shame). Room comfortable and clean. Restaurant more or less organized. Behaviour of some guests was against basic hygiene for Covide-19. Asked for an orange juice and was offered TANG (what a shame for a 5 stars Hotel) I booked 3 rooms sea view and I was given swimming pool view. with a sarcastic comment :look at your left and you will see the sea. I was never given a sea view in spite of paying for it.

Child Friendly and lovely beach.

Beautiful beach and very child friendly. Lovely food. We went out of season so it was very quite which was good for us. The service was sometimes slow but the food was good. I personally found the beds a little hard but others might be fine with them.

The hotel is nice as well as the beach. They charge premium rates which are understandable, however, you don’t get the service equal to the premium rates, and here are some: - The staff is nice and helpful with extra security at the gate and the hotel entrance, however, the front desk only treats you well if you are a foreigner or a tourist, if you are a local, they treat you well but not so good. - You have to pay extra if you want to get your clothes ironed as the rooms don’t have any iron boards or iron which is kinda off for the rate they charge. - There is no Microwave in your room to use. - This is one of the shocking news and made me not pleased which they do not have WiFi in the rooms, ONLY available at the bar so if you are a traveler like me and do not have a local network, you are kinda stuck. Or you have to walk to the bar to use the wifi which is a little distance from the room. - The restaurant and the breakfast bar are very limited if there are few guests at the hotel. If I pay premium rates, I should expect premium service no matter what. I end up driving to the town(which is 30 minutes away) to get some food. On the good side, the hotel is clean and the view is amazing. They do have an outdoor pool and an indoor as well. Also, they offer free beach tools if needed. Overall was nice and I would be ok with everything if I don’t have to pay premium rates.
