Disappointed stay
Posted 17 Feb 2024 on HotelsWe were moved to a higher floor 1204, which was nice. BUT move was disappointing as there were renovations happening and it was very noisy. Was advised at front desk 3 moves had happened, which is why I felt we got the better room. Was advised room ready when I called about 90mins before arriving, when we arrived room wasn't ready, cleaners were in. Guessing because others requested room move due to noise. Unit dated and needed a good deep clean. Lounge crevices were filthy, ceiling needs clean near aircon duct. Air con played up, although maintenance attended, was advised 3 units had same issue. Noise from traffic could be heard as doors don't seal completely.

In your case we were not successful in providing you with a 10/10 stay in which we do apologise for. It is quite frustrating for both ourselves and our guests when there are private renovations occurring within the property which are not under our management, our apologies. The apartments are deep cleaned 6 monthly and we generally have fantastic feedback about cleanliness so it is a bit of a shock to read that you did not experience a well cleaned apartment for your stay.
