Good hotel, great value.
Posted 4 Jun 2019 on HotelsNewly opened hotel. Still in the construction stage for the grounds. Gravel car park and temporary walkway to the entrance. Very surprised there is no air conditioning. Our room was very hot when we first arrived in the late afternoon and really didn’t cool off much for sleeping. We almost didn’t stay the second night of our booking but decided to try opening the window and lowering the blinds while we were out for the day. The second night the room was cooler but still a little warm. Probably would be fine in cooler months. The hotel is very nicely done in an industrial style. Lots of concrete but rooms are comfortable and clean. The floors are polished concrete but the bathroom, including the large shower stall, had heated floors. The included breakfast was very nice. In spite of the lack of air conditioning, we have already booked another stay in September.

Thank you so much for your feedback! We are happy that you like our hotel and thank you for staying with us! An air conditioning would not be compatible with our sustainability drive at all. In the context of sustainability, we have opted for intelligent concrete core activation to regulate the climate in the rooms. Our hotel has a positive climate and CO2 footprint and air condition is not necessary at our degree of latitude. Of course we do understand that due to the hot weather period the rooms getting a bit warmer. Therefore we have installed roller blinds on each window and a sun protection foil will be attached in very near future, too. We are looking forward to welcome you again in September.
