The historic details of the hotel are very nice. Comfortable beds( soft). Very clean. Parking in back of hotel, Has a bit of an old, musty smell to it. Good, central location.

We stayed here for several nights as we hiked several local trails including the AT. This hotel had an amazing sense of elegance and comfort from a time when staying in a hotel room was luxurious.

The young woman at the desk was so friendly and helpful. We talked to her awhile after dinner, and she was very pleasant to converse with.
