We stayed here for several nights as we hiked several local trails including the AT. This hotel had an amazing sense of elegance and comfort from a time when staying in a hotel room was luxurious.

The young woman at the desk was so friendly and helpful. We talked to her awhile after dinner, and she was very pleasant to converse with.

Hard to find tea i went 2 or 3 no service for tea

Was very disappointed there was not a lounge or a restaurant actually in the hotel as advertised. That was the whole reason we booked there. We did however find an excellent bar and grill across the street. I guess it was more the disappointment of not having the ambiance of the history of the hotel with the old speakeasy

This is a wonderful hotel in walking distance to all of Marion’s downtown shops, restaurants and the Lincoln Theater. We have stayed several times and have always had a positive experience.
